Bujinkai is a Japanese name, "Bujin" meaning fighter or warrior; and "kai" means school - thus Bujinkai means fighter school. Bujinkai has a lot of Chinese influence - including elements of Wing Chun, Praying Mantis and White Crane styles of Kung Fu. The logo for Bujinkai includes the rams head an the oncoming fist. The rams head is a Chinese symbol, called "Ming Chuan". The Japanese symbol of the fist means "the oncoming fist".
